World's first Fairtrade Wedding

During the International Fairtrade Day on 8 May, the first Fairtrade wedding took place in restaurant Fifteen in Amsterdam. Robert ten Brink, a well know and populair Dutch television star (All you need is Love), executed this wedding. The happy couple, Wanda Freeke and Caleche Brandsen, were both dressed in Fairtrade cotton.

This Fairtrade wedding is an initiative of Max Havelaar (independent Fairtrade Mark) and Bloom sponsored the Fairtrade flowers.
